More Tea Please

Sparking the imagination! What could be more whimsical? Looking at this photo from my favorite magazine ( tea time ) definitely makes me want to have "more tea please". A tea party is the perfect celebration for children, tweens /teens, and adults to enjoy and make lifetime memories.
Why have a tea party?
Bring back the tradition of teatime with a twist for your next special occasion. Create a new spin on the old in-home party concept and design a party that fits your taste buds.
One of my favorite tea parties that I hosted for a friend's birthday was an evening of Tea & Jazz at a local cafe. This event was a family affair that included men, women, children, and teens of all ages. The cafe catered the food and I set the scene with party decorations and served the guests tea, lemonade, pastries, cakes, and other delicious treats.
One of my special touches was a miniature tea bar with loose-leaf teas to see, touch, and smell, tantalizing the taste buds. I offered hats and feather boas to the guest of honor and all the girls to dress-up if they desired.

A tea party is one of the best reasons to have a get together; to find that special time that we can relax, reminisce, and share our hearts with one another.
